Whitney Sawmills offer a national delivery service including Hereford, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Gloucester, West Midlands, Telford, Newport, Swansea, mid Wales, South Wales, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Our team always works hard to deliver your order on time and we will be in contact with you to arrange the most convenient delivery date for your timber, however, it will be helpful to know the following when requesting your delivery
Is there suitable access for a large delivery vehicle? i.e. avoiding overhanging tree branches and low or weak bridges.
Is there a safe and legal space to park a large vehicle whilst unloading or do you require parking permits?
Do you have help available to offload timber manually?
Do you have a forklift on site for large beams?
Please be aware that delivery costs can vary depending on the size of the load, the type of vehicle required and size of order and a crane or forklift is an additional extra.
